Korean singer Kim Taehyung, better known as V of the boy band BTS, is mourning the passing of his beloved dog Yeontan.

Yeontan, the beloved dog of BTS member V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, has died. V himself announced the news on December 2, 2024, via a heartfelt statement posted to his Instagram stories.

Kim Taehyung first introduced fans to Yeontan, a black and tan Pomeranian, during Jin's birthday broadcast in 2017.
