Parts of northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula are getting buried under snow reportedly as deep as 12 inches, according to the National Weather Service in Marquette. Meteorologists are receiving scattered reports of between 5-7 inches to up to 12 inches in some areas, Lily Chapman, a meteorologist with the weather service told The Detroit News.
