Paytm stock declined 5 per cent in the Tuesday trading session after the firm reported a loss of Rs 2.04 billion (USD 23.6 million) before extraordinary items and taxes for the third quarter ending 31 December 2024 against a loss of Rs 4.

On a quarter-on-quarter (Q-o-Q) basis, Paytm's revenue grew 10 percent due to increase in GMV, growth in subscription revenues and increase in revenues from distribution of financial services, the firm said.

Financial services revenue increased sharply to Rs 502 crore, reflecting a jump of 34 per cent QoQ, while payment services revenue grew to Rs 1059 crore, up 8 per cent QoQ.

Paytm, India’s leading digital payments and financial services distribution company, reported robust financial performance for Q3 FY2025, with operating revenue reaching Rs 1,828 crore, up 10 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).
