PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry government has declared a holiday for all government, private, and government-aided schools and colleges in Puducherry and Karaikal on November 27, following a heavy rain forecast.

According to the IMD, the depression is very likely to continue to move north-northwestwards and intensify further into a cyclonic storm on November 27. Thereafter, it will continue to move north-northwestwards towards the Tamil Nadu coast.
