The city of Richmond is under a boil water advisory and residents are being urged to conserve water use after a power outage at the city's water treatment facility early Monday. Why it matters: Some city residents have no water because of the outage.

The outage comes after a major winter storm caused widespread impacts across more than a dozen states, including hundreds of thousands of power outages across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.
