Indian Premier League (IPL) legend Shikhar Dhawan hit his maiden Nepal Premier League (NPL) half-century on Wednesday (December 4, 2024) as Karnali Yaks dragged themselves to a total of 149/5 in 20 overs against Kathmandu Gurkhas in Kirtipur.

Former Indian opening batter Shikhar Dhawan endured a disappointing start in his maiden outing in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Dhawan was dismissed by Canadian off-spinner Harsh Thaker in the third league-stage match between Janakpur Bolts and Karnali Yaks.

Shikhar Dhawan is the only Indian name in the inaugural edition of the Nepal Premier League. Dhawan is playing for Karnali Yaks in NPL 2024.
