Apple launches Tap to Pay on iPhone in Chili
Apple has launched Tap to Pay on iPhone in Chili, empowering merchants to use iPhone to accept in-person, contactless payments. With Tap to Pay on iPhone, merchants can accept contactless payments through a supporting iOS app on an iPhone Xs or later running the latest iOS version.
Apple today launched Tap to Pay on iPhone in Chile, which means independent sellers, small businesses, and other merchants in the country can use an iPhone as a contactless payment terminal.
Apple Pay is currently available in more than 80 countries around the world. In November, Apple had already expanded the platform to banks in Paraguay.
