A New Hampshire man has died after falling during a hike in icy conditions on the White Mountains. Ryan Kobayashi, who flew to Los Angeles looking for his daughter, Hannah, after she was reported missing, 'tragically took his own life,' according to his family.

A New Hampshire man has died after falling in icy terrain while hiking in the White Mountains. Christopher Huyler, 44, was found early Saturday morning at an elevation of 2,800 feet, after he failed to return from hiking on the Coppermine Trail area in Franconia.

Christopher Huyler, 44, of Littleton, New Hampshire, was checking on off-trail ski conditions when he had a "significant fall," state authorities said.
