Dense widespread fog continues to make it’s presence known across SWLA, and it is likely to return each night through this week.A dense fog advisory is active this morning until 10 AM for all parishes.

A dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 3:18 a.m. in effect until 10 a.m. for Butler and Crenshaw counties.

Areas of dense coastal fog will move inland, and fog will develop over the interior counties during overnight hours.

On Monday at 7:05 a.m. the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC issued an updated dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. The advisory is for Inland Onslow and Coastal Onslow as well as Greene, Duplin, Lenoir and Jones counties.
