The NWS San Diego CA issued an updated high wind warning at 9:43 p.m. on Sunday valid from Monday 8 p.m. until Tuesday 8 p.m.
The winds fueling fires in Southern California are beginning to relax, but the forecast calls for their return next week.
The Red Flag Warning expired in San Diego and SDG&E has restored the power to areas shut off during the warning.
A strong and dry Santa Ana event with extreme fire weather conditions is increasingly likely,” the NWS said in a statement.
