Larry Seward reports more than 100 fire engines and planes are being deployed to protect Los Angeles County.

The National Weather Service has issued a warning of a “particularly dangerous situation” for parts of Los Angeles and Ventura counties from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning.

A new wildfire was reported today at 8:41 a.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. Currently, there is no data on the containment status of the fire and the cause has yet to be determined.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, who have established centers across Los Angeles County to aid victims through the recovery process, have offered guidance on how important proof of identify documents can be replaced if lost in the wildfires.
