ACC football season that began with 17 teams from coast-to-coast hoping to make it to Charlotte for a chance at a conference championship is now down to two teams whose dreams of a league title remain.

The 2024 ACC Championship Game will pit Clemson against SMU on Saturday, Dec. 7 in Charlotte. With both teams entering Week 14 inside the top 12 of the most recent CFP Rankings, the winner is almost assured one of the automatic bids to the College Football Playoff,

The NCAA changed its rule in the offseason so that postseason games no longer count against the four-game maximum for redshirt eligibility. McFall played in Saturday’s game against Cal and had a few explosive plays, including a touchdown. More of that could be in store against Clemson.
