The second egg arrived in the nest high atop a tree overlooking Big Bear Lake on Saturday night, according to Friends of Big Bear Valley, which operates a livestream of the nest.

Friends of Big Bear Valley, responsible for webcams that provide 24-hour eagle access, posted footage of the arrival of Jackie and Shadow's third egg.

The parenting saga of bald eagle couple Jackie and Shadow continues as they welcome their first egg of the year to the family nest in Big Bear.

Jackie welcomed the third egg Tuesday evening. It was three days after she laid her second egg, which was three days after the first. Three to five days apart is the average for bald eagles, according to the Friends of Big Bear Valley, which manages the popular YouTube livestream of the birds.

"The egg and Jackie are both fine. Congratulations to her for an efficient, smooth delivery!" Friends of Big Bear Valley wrote.

Jackie laid the third egg on the final Tuesday of January; viewers around the world got a quick but sweet peek.
