Linda Nolan’s family have revealed the touching reason why her funeral will be held at St Paul’s Church in Blackpool this Saturday. The beloved singer and cancer awareness campaigner died at the age of 65 on January 15, 2025, after battling to live life to the full despite her breast cancer diagnosis.

Mourners descended on Blackpool on Saturday (February 1) to pay their respects to singer Linda Nolan. The singer’s pink sparkly coffin was carried from St Paul’s Church in Blackpool to applause from members of the public who had lined the streets while To Where You Are by Josh Groban was played.

Tears were shed and smiles were shared as the funeral of Linda Nolan took place at a church in Blackpool today. The 65-year-old died after a battle with secondary breast cancer on Wednesday, January 15.

There have been plenty of warm tributes to singing star Linda Nolan from people on the Fylde coast after her funeral in Blackpool yesterday.

The service will take place at St Paul’s Church in Blackpool at 10.30am. St Paul’s is the same church where Linda married her husband Brian Hudson in 1981 and where he was laid to rest after he died in 2007, according to the family.
