After a split weekend with Michigan, the Michigan State University hockey team earned one point in an overtime loss on night one before bouncing back with a statement 4-1 win on Saturday. The Spartans remain prominent in national polls and earned a spot in the Big Ten Stars of the Week.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (MSU) - Junior Charlie Stramel has earned Big Ten Second Star of the Week honors after his performance in MSU’s split with No. 10 Michigan last weekend. Stramel had a hand in three of MSU’s four goals in a 4-1 victory over the Wolverines at Munn.
