Oregon will open the 2025 season in the top 25 of both major softball polls. The Ducks are No. 23 with 125 points in the preseason NFCA poll, same as their ranking in the USA Softball preseason poll. Oregon went 30-21 overall and 13-10 in Pac-12 play in 2024, losing to eventual national champion Oklahoma in the Norman Regional final.

The 2025 Husker Softball season is just nine days away and in the fourth and final poll before the season kicks off, Nebraska comes in ranked at 19th in the NFCA Preseason Coaches Poll. The Huskers are ranked in three other preseason polls;
