Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers are hunting a coyote that attacked a 4-year-old girl on Thanksgiving after she mistook it for a dog crouching behind a tree

According to our sister station, Fox 21, in Colorado Springs, it happened on Thanksgiving afternoon in a neighborhood south of the Air Force Academy. Witnesses reported that the girl was with another child and approached the coyote, crouched behind a tree, believing it was a dog.
