Tuesday is a First Alert Weather Day as snow showers are possible across parts of the metro during the afternoon and evening hours.

We are increasingly confident that parts of north Georgia will see accumulating snow by this afternoon as an area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico sends moisture northward.
