When the police confronted Shariful, he said that he was a resident of West Bengal. On probing further, Shariful was unable to give details of his residence and whereabouts in West Bengal.

Mumbai witnessed a shocking incident on January 16 when an unidentified individual broke into actor Saif Ali Khan's residence at around 2 AM.

The Mumbai Police have found 19 fingerprints of Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, the accused in actor Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, from the crime scene and the 12-storey building, Satguru Sharan, sources said.
