Winter storm warning issued for Cascades
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the northern and central Oregon Cascades. Starting Friday morning at 4 a.m., heavy snow is expected to fall at elevations above 3,000 feet, with up to 12 inches possible through Saturday at 4 p.m.

We are starting out this Thursday with some sunshine, increasing clouds and a chance of rain this afternoon. Bakersfield will see a high of 69. Mountains communities will see highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s with a southwest wind up to 15 mph.

Winter storm warning issued for California for Thursday and Friday, says the NWS
