The Appleton Police Department has provided more information about a disturbance involving a weapon on Sanders Street early Sunday morning. Public Information Officer Meghan Cash reported that officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of South Sanders Street in the early hours of Sunday.

The Outagamie County Coroner’s Office and the Appleton Police Department have identified the victim in Sunday’s weapons incident on South Sanders Street.

The Appleton Police Department says a man arrested after a car chase Sunday is accused of shooting and killing his father earlier that morning.
