Martin, 65, joined ITV in 2014 as Editor of Loose Women before switching to This Morning, which he will leave in Spring 2025. The TV boss is married to former GM:TV host Fiona Phillips, who shared her battle with Alzheimer's at the age of 62 last year.

This Morning is set to lose another leading figure after its editor announced his plans to step down after 10 years. Martin Frizell will leave the programme in Spring 2025, although it is currently unclear who will replace him.

Martin Frizell has stepped down from his role as editor of ITV’s This Morning after ten years. He joined the channel in 2014 as editor of Loose Women before taking over the popular programme, which until last year was hosted by Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
