Rescuers are searching for a missing Pennsylvania grandmother who is believed to have fallen deep into a sinkhole while searching for her cat with her young granddaughter, authorities said.

First responders in Westmoreland County are searching for a 64-year-old woman who reportedly fell in a 30-foot sinkhole in Unity Township.

The sinkhole appears to have been created during the time that Pollard was walking around, officials said, noting that there is no evidence that the hole was there before she started looking for her cat.
