The City of Syracuse’s Department of Water has announced lane reductions on Thursday, Jan. 30 for repairs to the water main on the 2200 block of Park Street. During repairs, the Department of Water warns drivers to expect delays and to consider alternate routes when possible.

The Syracuse Department of Water is working to repair a water main break on Park Street Thursday morning. The water main broke on the 2200 block of the street. As crews make repairs, the street will remain open to traffic,

Crews have closed at least 3 valves to stop the water flow so they can begin to repair the main and eventually, the road.

On Friday morning, crews finished repairs on a large water main break that caused a fountain of water on Peachtree Road in Buckhead the night before.
