There was some significant movement in the new rankings released after the Week 13 games. While the top four teams in last week's rankings —Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, and Penn State—all took care of business, other teams projected to be in the 12-team College Football Playoff bracket suffered losses.

As the final week of the 2024-25 college football season rapidly approaches kickoff, the College Football Playoff is far from settled and could still things turn upside down for many teams. Last week saw four teams who were previously in the bracket lose.
