Nottingham Forest have made an approach for Brentford forward Yoane Wissa. The Bees value Wissa at far beyond the £22m reportedly offered by the Reds. BBC Sport can confirm the approach with Forest targeting competition for in-form striker Chris Wood,

Nottingham Forest have reportedly submitted a £22million bid for Brentford striker Yoane Wissa as Nuno Espirito Santo's side continue their push for Champions League qualification.

The striker is being linked with Nottingham Forest. However after defeat to Liverpool, Frank dismissed the rumours. Asked about the Forest claims, the Dane told talkSPORT: "I just want to say good luck to them (Nottingham Forest), because it's not going to happen." Wissa has a contract with Brentford to 2026.

Nottingham Forest have made an approach to sign Brentford forward Yoane Wissa. The Bees value Wissa at far beyond the £22m which was reportedly offered by Forest and will not accept bids in that price range despite their striker having just 18 months left to run on his current contract.

Brentford have no intention of selling Yoane Wissa this month, after Nottingham Forest made a bid of around £20 million for the striker.
