The Trump administration told federal agencies they don't have to direct workers to comply with Elon Musk's request for information about their activities at work.
"The email request was utterly trivial, as the standard for passing the test was to type some words and press send!" Musk said.
Employees throughout the federal government have until 11:59 pm ET Monday to detail five things they accomplished in the last week.
