The Washington Commanders likely are to be without starting right guard Sam Cosmi for the rest of the playoffs.

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn confirmed the injury during a Sunday press conference, calling it "unfortunate."

Sam Cosmi has been knocked down, but he is not pitying himself. The former Texas Longhorn tackle was injured Saturday night in the second quarter of the Commanders' 45-31 upset over the Lions in Detroit.

It was already known that Commanders guard Sam Cosmi's knee injury would keep him out for the balance of the postseason.
