As the Portland Trail Blazers continue their rebuild, trade rumors are swirling, and one name that has emerged in discussions is Anfernee Simons. Recently, Bleacher Report listed Simons as the Detroit Pistons’ “dream target” ahead of the trade deadline.

Simons is in a bit of a funk, scoring just 24 points over his last three games, including a scoreless Thursday night against the LA Clippers.

Simons scored 13 points against the Rockets on Saturday, but he won't be available for this matchup, meaning the Blazers won't have one of their most prolific scoring weapons. Scoot Henderson will take his place in the starting lineup, and Simons' next chance to suit up will come against the Heat on Tuesday.

Simons is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bulls with an elbow strain, Danny Marang of 1080 The Fan Portland reports.
