Billy Ray Cyrus has spoken out after what appeared to be a disaster of a performance Monday night at Liberty Ball during President Donald Trump’s rally.

Country music website Whiskey Riff called it a “train wreck,” and wrote that Cyrus eventually appeared to be escorted off the stage after they turned the lights off on him. Cyrus addressed the performance on Instagram on Tuesday.

Greenwood, who has seen a resurgence in popularity through Trump’s campaign due to the President-elect’s use of his song, “God Bless the U.S.A,” showed off what he said was a limited-edition copy of the good book which features Trump’s name and “47th” president printed at the top along with the January 20, 2025 date.

The 63-year-old country singer was one of the performers at President Donald Trump’s Liberty Ball following the inauguration on Monday. Cyrus performed songs such as “Achy Breaky Heart” and the remix to Lil Nas X’s song “Old Town Road.
