The Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers both took their home courts on Monday for the first time since the devastating wildfires that killed at least 24 people and destroyed more than 12,000 structures began raging across the Los Angeles area last week.

The Los Angeles wildfires forced the local NBA teams to relocate until things settled down. The Lakers and Clippers are set to return home soon.

Sunday night’s game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers was about far more than basketball as the two teams looked to give hope to the city during a time of devastation.
