Kansas men’s basketball overcame a slow start on Wednesday night in Fort Worth, Texas, to secure another Big 12 Conference win, beating TCU 74-61.

TCU couldn’t hold onto its halftime lead as it fell to Kansas by double-digits, 74-61. The Jayhawks’ strong defense prevented TCU from climbing back on top, forcing the Horned Frogs to go the final 3:30 of the game without a field goal.

OSU sophomore Stailee Heard had 17 points and freshman Jadyn Wooten exploded for 14, all in the second half, as the Cowgirls erased the huge deficit over the final 14-plus minutes. TCU star guard Hailey Van Lith had just 12 points and missed a potential go-ahead shot in the closing seconds.
