Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith was pegged as a top candidate for the open head coach at the University of North Carolina by On3’s Andy Staples on Tuesday. North Carolina is Smith’s alma mater.

Arthur Smith could once again be joining the head coaching ranks, this time at the college football level. On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator was added to On3 Sports' Head Coach Hot Board for the recently-vacated North Carolina Tar Heels head coaching job.
