The Environment Agency issue warnings and train services are cancelled in Storm Bert's aftermath.

A train line has reopened after its tracks were flooded following Storm Bert. Northern's services between Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria and Lancaster were expected to be cancelled until Friday due to problems near Ulverston.

Snow has led to a day of disruption in Devon, with some roads closed, more than 130 schools shut and thousands of homes without power. Falling temperatures are expected to bring icy patches on the roads and police have warned drivers to only venture out if "absolutely necessary".

Major travel delays were reported across the United Kingdom on Monday after Storm Bert brought wind, floods, ice and snow over the weekend.
