Temperatures will be back in the mid 50s this afternoon. Expect a mostly cloudy sky today, but we’ll stay dry to end the week.

The cold blast to end the week will be short lived. Highs are right back in the 60s this weekend with overnight lows warming into the 40s, which is near normal!

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT)—After yesterday’s much colder weather, we are beginning to warm back up.

THE NEXT BIG THING will be the return of rain showers this weekend. Dry weather will continue during the day Saturday, with increasing clouds. Plan for showers to reach West Alabama after 6 p.m., and then central/eastern areas around or after midnight.

As we head into the weekend, we will see rain chances fire up once again with highs in the mid 50s. To start next week, we will turn up the temperature even more with highs in the upper 50s and even low 60s with a rain chance.
