India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is back as the No. 1 Test bowler and has also achieved his career-best rating of 883 in the ICC rankings following his match-winning haul of 8 for 72 against Australia in Perth.

Following India’s 295-run win over Australia in the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test at Perth, India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has come back as the top-ranked bowler in the ICC Men’s Test Bowling Rankings.

Jasprit Bumrah took eight wickets, including a fifer, in the first Test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth.

The ICC has called for a board meeting on November 29, hoping to get a clear answer on where and how the 2025 Champions Trophy will be played. With India not willing to travel to Pakistan and with Pakistan refusing to back down and adopt a hybrid model that allows India to play their games in a second country,

The all-powerful board of the International Cricket Council will meet virtually on November 29 to finalise the much-delayed schedule of the Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan in February-March next year.

The BCCI wants the tournament to be played in a hybrid model with India games scheduled in a third country, something that its Pakistani counterpart has not agreed to thus far.
