Tensions between India and Bangladesh have intensified following attacks on Hindu temples and the arrest of a Hindu priest in Bangladesh.

As India-Bangladesh tensions over atrocities against Hindus escalate, the neighbouring country has intensified its crackdown on the minority community with more vandalisation of temples, freezing of bank accounts of ISKCON-related persons,

In Chattogram, Bangladesh, three Hindu temples were attacked by a mob on Friday following sedition charges against a former ISKCON member. Authorities reported damage to the Shoni Temple and other temples' gates.

Three Hindu temples were vandalised by a slogan-shouting mob on Friday in Bangladesh's Chattogram which has witnessed protests and violence since a former ISKCON member was booked under sedition charges.

The incident happened while a march was being held in Chittagong demanding a ban on Iskcon. Several shops were also targeted after Friday prayers.
