From a health standpoint, this season has pushed the Cowboys to the brink. It’s a franchise that’s lost four defensive ends, a starting play-caller, both starting corners, its No. 2 receiver, a starting linebacker along with starters at left tackle and guards to injuries.

Despite the Cowboys' record and Mike McCarthy's contract status, Jerry Jones said it isn't a "crazy" idea that the head coach could be extended this offseason.

But team owner Jerry Jones apparently is feeling pretty, pretty good about the Cowboys' road upset victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday. In fact, Jones did not rule out a potential contract extension for his embattled head coach in his weekly radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday.
