A GoFundMe page started for the family of an Albert Lea man killed Tuesday night in a crash in Windom has raised more than $9,000 as of Thursday morning. Hunter Tim Allan Schwartz, 28, died from injuries sustained in a crash with another vehicle on Highway 71 in Windom.

An Albert Lea man was killed and four others were injured after a crash Tuesday night, according to a crash report from Minnesota State Patrol.

WINDOM, Minn. — An Albert Lea man died and four others were injured Tuesday evening after a crash in Windom. Hunter Tim Allan Schwartz, 28, was reportedly taken to the Windom Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash happened around 6:22 pm Tuesday in Cottonwood County. The Minnesota State Patrol says Amy Sue Pigman, 42 of Odin, was driving a 2023 Buick Enclave and Hunter Tim Allan Schwatz, 28 of Albert Lea, was driving a 2018 Kia Sportage. The State Patrol says the vehicles collided in the 9200 block of Highway 71, southeast of Windom.

A crash between two vehicles in Cottonwood County left a 28-year-old man dead and four injured on Tuesday evening. The Minnesota State Patrol reports the crash happened around 6 p.m. on Highway 71 in the City of Windom, while the roads were slick with ice.

The Minneapolis State Patrol said three juveniles and an adult were injured, and another adult was killed following a crash Tuesday night in Cottonwood County.
