In a collision between multiple vehicles that was reported on the Sion-Panvel Highway near the Jui Nagar Railway Station on Sunday afternoon, one person died while another person was injured. According to police a minor accident was reported first on the Panvel lane wherein two vehicles had brushed against each other and crowd had gathered.

In Navi Mumbai, a speeding dumper caused a fatal crash involving multiple vehicles, resulting in one death and a significant traffic jam. The driver abandoned the dumper and fled. Police are actively searching for the culprit as they work to unravel the accident's causes and ensure road safety.

Adding to the turmoil, the dumper's driver abandoned the vehicle on the highway and fled the scene. Authorities have launched a manhunt to locate the absconding driver, with police assuring that stringent action will be taken against those responsible.

The incident took place in the Juinagar area on the Sion highway and created a massive traffic jam, an official said.
