Purdue has lost its third recruit in a two-day span. On Friday, three-star linebacker Kimar Nelson announced that he has decommitted from the program.

Purdue's recruiting class took another hit on Thursday, losing an offensive lineman to Iowa State. Kuol Kuol was the day's second decommitment.

Fort Wayne linebacker Kimar Nelson jumped on his first college football offer after visiting Purdue when it played Northwestern on Nov. 2. Three weeks after committing to the Boilermakers, Nelson had a change of heart.

He was the second player to from the Boilermakers on the holiday.Kuol, a 6-foo6, 260-pound offensive tackle, had initially committed to Purdue back in July. He announced his decision with a social media post on X.
