CHENNAI: A Chennai family court on Wednesday granted a divorce under mutual consent to actor Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Allowing a divorce petition moved by the couple, principal family court judge S Subadevi granted the divorce to the couple.

Actor Dhanush and filmmaker Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth are now officially divorced. As per media reports, the Chennai Family Welfare court granted the couple divorce as they said they could not live together.

Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth were granted divorce by Chennai family court on November 27. The two were married for 18 years.
