New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy is calling for Rutgers University to take action after an external investigation found the school’s head gymnastics “presided over a divided and dysfunctional organization“ while having an undisclosed relationship with the college’s then-athletic director that violated university policy.

An investigation has concluded that former Rutgers athletic director Pat Hobbs had a "relationship" with gymnastics team coach Umme Salim-Beasley that violated university policy.
