Storm Darragh hit Wales in the early hours of Saturday morning and the Met Office has warned that major disruption and even a "danger to life" should be expected. On Friday (December 6), the agency issued a rare red weather warning for wind across some parts of Wales on Saturday, December 7.

Parts of Wales and southwest England could see gusts of wind reaching 90mph between 3am to 11am on Saturday, while an amber warning is in place across most of the rest of the UK.
