When Oklahoma City Thunder guard Isaiah Joe went through a brief slump, All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander knew the turnaround was inevitable. Gilgeous-Alexander said Joe was ‘too good’ to stay in a slump for long after scoring a season-high 31 points in a 126-101 victory against the New York Knicks.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 27 points and 10 assists in three quarters, and the Oklahoma City Thunder blew out the Brooklyn Nets 127-101.

Oklahoma City Thunder coach Mark Daigneault, far less talented and perhaps similarly imaginative, can only dream of the feelings that come with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s powers.  The temptations of the conscience of one of Earth’s greatest scorers.
