Four Powerball tickets sold in California won $22,700 each, but just missed the $329 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The tickets matched four of five winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Saturday, Jan. 18, the California Lottery said.

The lottery jackpot was an estimated $331 million with a cash option of $147.5 million for Saturday night's drawing, according to the Powerball website. The jackpot was last won on Dec. 7 when a New York lottery player won a $256 million Powerball jackpot.

A Powerball ticket sold in California won $33,113, but just missed the $285 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The tickets matched four winning Powerball numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Monday, Jan. 13, the California Lottery said.
