Tiger Woods announced on Monday that he would not be playing in the tournament he annually hosts, the Hero World Challenge, next month.

Woods, who underwent a back procedure in September, said he was “disappointed” by not being able to compete this year at the star-studded Hero World Challenge.

Tiger Woods will not play in the 2024 Hero World Challenge, the 15-time major winner announced Monday on social media. The tournament, hosted annually by Woods, takes place Dec 5-8 at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas.
