Deposed Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina condemns the arrest of ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das on sedition charges, demanding his immediate release and highlighting religious freedom concerns.

In her statement, she criticized the government for its handling of the situation and called for the immediate release of the prominent Hindu leader.

Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari, the general secretary of ISKCON Bangladesh, said the monk had been removed from all positions of the organisation.
