Veteran investigative journalist Catherine Herridge revealed Tuesday that CBS News refused to allow her to interview billionaire Elon Musk live on X, insisting instead that she pre-tape and edit the conversation.

Herridge claims her former bosses blocked an interview she had snagged with Elon Musk in early 2023 because they were afraid what the outspoken tech mogul might say.

Herridge was told by CBS higher-ups to focus on the investigative journalism she had found on Hunter Biden's laptop, but her direct bosses told her to kill it.
