The much-anticipated schedule for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy could be finalized during 5 December’s International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting, according to reports. All eyes will be on what model is accepted by the ICC as both PCB and BCCI are not ready on a single model.

Jay Shah has taken charge as the ICC Chair and he'll be attending the ICC meeting today where the fate of Champions Trophy 2025 is likely to be decided.

“We have come up with a fair solution. If India refuse, they cannot expect us to play there in the future. If the ICC events are held in India, Pakistan should be allowed to play their matches or finals in Dubai, ensuring fairness,” a PCB source was quoted in the report.

Pakistan hopes it will get a fair deal on “equality” when the International Cricket Council virtually meets on Friday to finalize details for next year’s Champions Trophy.

The BCCI has reportedly said no to accepting PCB's 'conditions' over accepting a hybrid model for the ICC Champions Trophy.

As of now, there has been no response from the BCCI but indications are that the Indian cricket board is not willing to accept adopting a hybrid model for their tournaments, citing no security issues in India.
